Kevin and the team have been building a loyal customer base since opening the doors in 2009. Located in a century home from the 1840’s, the building was moved to its current location in the 1940’s, and revamped as a commercial property in the early 2000’s.
Many years of plain old hard work have resulted in just the right mix of a Neighbourhood Pub and a Local Eatery; a place to gather and celebrate for special occasions or to meet up for a drink. Our free Wifi makes this a convenient place for a working lunch. People often return to enjoy Daily & Weekly Menu Specials and Live Music on some weekend evenings, but come early as the spaces fill up quickly, so we accept reservations in advance. The patio is a hotspot in the summer for impromptu parties, and perfect as a pleasant stop for cyclists and motorcyclists travelling through the area. We can accommodate your group for Special Occasions as a private event, and offer customized catering in the Durham and Northumberland Regions.
